My husband and I both did coffee several years back and it was tough, especially with both of us working late nights at that stage. I was considering doing it again this year, hoping my toddler will be compliant.
Giving up something for Lent has to be a sacrifice and not something that you can do without. I would suggest researching the meaning of Lent, it may help you?
Generally its chocolates or sweets. Very proud of mine son , one year he gave up his video games which was hard for him , but he did it. Hopefully he can do it again this year .
I generally do give up something for lent. This year I will be eagerly awaiting the arrival of bub no 2 (due 20 March) so I’ll probably be wanting to treat myself instead of deprive myself (given how many things we give up for pregnancy).
