Hello!

Santa always gives us a few board games each year. What are your favorites? We have an 8 and 6 year old who play and our 3 year old watches for the most part but we include her when she wants a try

  • Being Dutch myself we have this game and play it quite often

  • Two old games, scrabble & Ludo, are still big winners here. But of course other games are played as well

  • Jungle speed is the best! Kind of like snap but you have to be first to grab the totem pole. High energy but so much fun and good for a laugh

  • we love board / card games-
    zombiekids
    monopoly deal
    monopoly bid
    exploding cats
    uno flip
    cat bingo

  • We have the kids version of Sequence which is great fun for everyone

  • We have 5 kids between 3 and 10, Battleships, Chess, Trouble, Hungry Hippos, Twister and Uno are a hit at the moment

  • Game of life. My 8 and 6 yr old love it. My 2 yr old will move the car around, and pick cards for the boys.

  • I love playing Trouble and Guess Who?

  • I love Boggle, Trivial Pursuit and Pictionary. For kids I recommend the classic Snakes and Ladders and memory cards

  • We love monopoly and for cards UNO.
We are always on the look out for strategic games that our kids enjoy using their brain for.

  • Our new favourite is Cluedo. My 10 year old is obsessed with it!

  • Guess who, uno, trouble, snakes and ladders, operation

  • I was really good at keeping all my boardgames in tact so I still have 90s games like don’t spill the beans and don’t break the ice.
I’m not sure if you can still get them but they do have don’t break the ice as a newer version called penguin peril.
    Both are heaps of fun!

  • We love monopoly, a deck of cards (so many games) and Sushi Go

  • Not a board game, but my daughter loves the Monopoly Deal cars game. She started playing when she was 6 so would suit your older two kids.

  • I always think snakes and ladders is a good old favourite and I think you could also include the youngest by letting them learn to count when they have to move. Also Don’t spill the beans, Qwirkle, Charades for kids, Scrabble junior game, UNO, Twister, Monopoly junior, Hungry hypo, Mouse trap.

  • I bought ‘What do you meme’ for my sister when she was 12 and it’s been a big hit with her and her friends.
We like to play monopoly, snakes and ladders, connect four, guess who and scattegories

  • Bananarama is a great word game for older kids.

  • Junior monopoly, Is great and the 3 year old can play too.
Snakes and ladders is great, so are card games, uno, crazy 8s and even go fish (when they get a bit older, spoons, Knights and peasants, spit etc)

  • Labyrinth is a good one for the younger ones and you can get it in a variety of different themes but we liked the Disney one best.
