  • Apparently there is some really bad predatory content on there, and a few people that have been seeking to make roblox a safer place, or trying to catch predators on roblox, have actually had their account banned on roblox. My kids aren’t interested but if they were I think best to play it with them or monitor it with all safety features. As a teacher as well alot of students play it so it’s hard to avoid.

  • my boy is obsessed over the game, i guess its also because his friends at school are obsessed on the game, i let him play though i have placed all controls i can, like time limits on the game and set parental controls and i have disabled the chat system, i also keep my eyes on him, passing by his room all the time,

  • Great question! I personally don’t like it but my kids did play it. They played it with friends after school and I thought it was fine at first until they started telling me about the behaviours of people on there and some games on there and ‘hidden rooms’ etc. I think it can be used safely without chat and with friends but I myself hate all these online games. I wish we could go back to the days of coming home and disconnecting. My advice would be to use no chat, and have them play in a room in your house where you can monitor it.

  • My son is now 21 years old but played Roblox when he was a teenager.. We turned off the chat function and blocked mature content, you also can set a daily time limit. Overall I think it’s a game that instills creativity and coding and there is also the social aspect of playing together with his friends. My son often showed me with pride what he was playing and building

  • I’ve heard things about that are both pro and against Roblox. It hasn’t appeared on my radar yet. I would just encourage all parents to monitor their kids online gaming if they are in open worlds that anyone can join. And never give your kids direct access to payment methods, that seems to be a weird trend
