Hello!

Me personally I like doing surveys, a little extra cash or entry into a draw/competition here and there and just giving my opinion about something I am passionate about. Do others like doing surveys?

  • I don’t like surveys because often enough they take too much time without a reward. And I don’t have much time.

  • I like to do the surveys that give you points which you can exchange for gift cards or merchandise. Really doesn’t pay very well for your time. I figure if I wasn’t doing anything anyway than answering questions and getting points etc is okay. I won’t do the surveys that offer competition entries for your time as the chances of winning something are minimal. I just let the points add up over a long time then cash it in.

  • I tried once and it wasn’t for me but best of luck with your surveys!

  • Great list KJGARNER!

  • it is probably a good hobby for people to do and possibly fun for some! :)

  • Thanks for the info KJGARNER :)

  • Yes I love doing surveys – I have earnt quite a few vouchers over the years and it allows me to buy things we might not usually be able to afford. I have also had the chance to do product tests from this and won some great prizes from the entry draws.

  • BELA some survey places that I do survey’s for are:
    Rewards Central
    Vibe Village
    MyView
    Quality Online Research
    Toluna
    The ORU Survey
    My Survey
    Survey Village
    Your Opinion
    Global Test Market
    Acorn Ideas
    Your Voice
    Hiving
    Valued Opinions
    All Woman Talk
    Etc.

  • I do them occasionally, but find the points they offer seem less than a year or two ago and so it takes longer to earn rewards.

  • I do some here and there when I have time

  • Yes I do surveys. They are quite fun and you can pick and choose the ones that interest you

  • I have earnt some Gift cards which I either use from my own shopping or give them as gifts.
There are a couple who actually pay by cheque or into your bank account.
One survey group has a good choice of gift cards : Coles Group (they can be used art Coles, Target, Kmart and a couple of other places) Woolworths(I think they can also be used at Big W), Bunnings, Target that can only be used at Target, JB Hi Fi Another one you have funds put into a Paypal Account or donate to a choice of 2 or 3 charities – one of them is Red Cross.

  • this is something I’ve been considering doing recently. I’m not sure which is the best company to join though. Any tips?

  • It does add up eventually, you get about $1 every 10 mins survey etc or sometimes you might get more but every little bit helps when your on only one income.

  • I’ll do the ones that might win you something if it’s from a site or magazine I enjoy, but generally I would have done the survey without the bribe if it’s for something I really enjoy. I work in customer service so I know how valuable feedback can be so I always try and do my part to help make companies and products better.

  • I love that little bit extra every now and then. Yes they can be time consuming and I much prefer the 5-10 minute ones, but it tends to be my quiet time to have a cuppa and be surprised by what company wants my opinion this time. I’ve tried to talk family and friends into joining up with some of them but a lot of people aren’t interested in putting in the time or effort. I was surprised.

  • I tend to do the ones that don’t take much time, like the 5-15 minutes ones :)

  • HOPEFULLYHEIDI, opinionworld.com.au is one of the sites where you can cash out with PayPal.

  • Enjoy your surveys mums. Sounds like the perks are good for you! :)

  • Ooh I would love to know more about the ones that put money directly into your PayPal account. I don’t mind doing them, but find they can occasionally be a bit time consuming. I think you have to source the best sites to get the most out of the experience.
