  • Im not sure if its available across the country but apparently the teething gel that the womens and childrens hospital in adelaide is amazing. It gets rave reviews and has been very popular around new mum friends.

  • A cold teething ring for them to chew on even some ice block in the dummy type bag for them to suck on at ice poles for the bit older ones are good for numbing the gums

  • I used to put frozen strawberries into those little nets for babies… He got relief and a nice treat… Tried different fruits but strawberries worked best

  • I thought “YAY” when I saw the heading for this story. I might get some help. Nope. Just pain relief. What about when pain keeps bub up til all hours? When he wakes 4-5 times every night? How do the parents cope with this, along with the sleep deprivation and going to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. It breaks people not sleeping at night

  • We have a teether that we pop in the freezer to ice up.

  • I put a small towel in the freezer and let him suck on it when it’s really cold

  • Cold fruit to chew/suck on, teething toys, cuddles, and if needed panadol

  • A clean face washer with ice helps. They can chew and suck on it to relieve the pain or there are mesh teethers you can buy, you fill them with fruit and your bub can chew on it.
