Oh tell me about it!! I have this same frustration for my daughter who constantly gets little eczema spots on her hands. Definitely doesnt help with the constant hand washing but the seasons can play a part too. We too have used elocon but ended up going stronger for flare ups

I’ve had quite some eczema on my hands and fingers in the past, often triggered by water and soap (and working as a nurse in the hospital this was also hard to avoid). I can’t remember the various creams I was prescribed but I would suggest you ask the GP for a referral to the dermatologist. The problem with creams that have hydrocortison is that it thins your skin, so it’s important to use a neutral cream to moisture the skin beside it. I wore a lot of gloves during the day to prevent excessive washing and during the night to feed the skin.
