  • There are so many on the internet.
We did a lot of trivia and the ice one.
My gf did one that has people cut string to the size they think the belly is and whoever is closest wins.

  • I went to one a few weeks ago. Somebody provided some clean (but used) baby bottles, filled them with water and youy had to see who could suck all the water the quickest. I failed miserably

  • Baby’s First Portrait
First Portrait Baby Shower Game FUN, CHEAP OR FREE
How to play: Give all party guests an index card and a washable marker (just in case they hit skin), and have them put a card on their forehead. Set a timer for 60 seconds and get them to draw what they think your baby will look like. The mom-to-be selects the scribble, um portrait, she likes best.
Why they’ll play it: It legit takes no effort, and it’s fun to watch everyone around you struggle to make a doodle without looking

  • Get a pinata! Everybody loves lollies and it’s a bit of a laugh.

  • I love the variety of games thanks for sharing

  • Yeah I have heard of the ice cube one, but with a jelly baby and the first to defrost by sucking it without chewing wins :)

  • We had the nappy game too but there was also an ice cube game. Freeze a small plastic baby in an ice cube and whoever’s defrosts first wins.

  • We did the clothes peg game but we didn’t use our teeth. We only used one hand. If you accidently bite a peg you could damage your teeth, bite your lip or tongue in the process. We to guess what was wrapped in each of the presents. Not as easy as you think when there is more than one item in there and / or no odd shaped ones. One had all sorts of little things tucked into a small packet of disposable nappies. No- one got that one right. Good for plenty of laughs.

  • lol that reminds me of one time at this baby shower, they had a “guess the contents of the nappy”! you blend up some concoction (puree apples etc) and everyone has to sniff the “dirty” nappy and guess what is in it lol.

  • Guessing names game can be a lot of fun and can also give the parents to be some ideas for names.

  • LoL! The baby food tasting food game sounds like fun!

  • I did ‘guess how many m & m’s are in a baby bottle, the closest guess got the bottle of m & m’s and a small prize. And guessing game where the guests had to guess the date of birth, weight, length, etc or if it was a boy or a girl

  • the game could be changing a dolls nappy bind folded, dressing the doll bind folded etc.. and timing the people to see who does it quickest.

  • 1. Everyone has a peg clipped to them. If someone hears you say ‘baby’ they can take your peg. Whoever has the most pegs at the end wins. 2. Buy some jars of baby food and people taste them and have to guess the flavour.

  • One was to guess the girth of the mum to be. It was over 1m. The poor mum to be was horrified and really embarrassed.

  • It’s been a while since I’ve attended a baby shower, but I do remember one game where a line was strung between two chairs and pegs were hung from it and then contestants had to get down on their knees with hands behind their backs and see who could take off the most pegs using just their mouths. The person who removes the most pegs wins.
