Flyers at vets and dog shows would be a good way to go with marketing. A name – a simple one – maybe with your name, makes it easily identifiable and is good for getting your business known.

we will walk your dog, mow your lawns (if requested) keep your house clean and lived in while you are away. Im happy to share with the the refferences from thoose we have done this service for. You can rest happily while away without the worry of whats going on at home. Knowing you dog/cat (all pets from brd to rabbits and guinea pigs etc) is getting it belly rubbed feed & and a lap to snuggle up on at night. You Could call it Pets in the home. ( be open to many more pet sitting options)

katelt, you beat me to it. I was thinking the same same thing as i was reading the article. Another suggest is Dog House Sitters. Some actually take the dog into their own homes. There is one in SA – wish I could remember its name as it would be better than putting our dog in kennels. They can’t get out to relieve themselves. Some try to hang on which isn’t good from a health perspective. Then there is a possibibilty that the dog may have to be re house trained if they have been in kennels for a length of time for any reason.
