I would suggest a 3 wheel one, just a cheapie, as they grow out of them so quickly.

My toddler has the Peppa Pig one – it has two wheels at the front and one at the back. It can only really go straight but it’s a bit more stable.

I would go for a sturdy 3wheeler. It doesn’t have to be a specific brand.

Three wheels is best until they learn to balance on it.
Unless you have an older child with a scooter I would opt for a tricycle first. Pushing the pedals strengthens their leg muscles before they stand and balance on a scooter.
If your child is going to use it on the footpath I suggest you put a bell on it and teach the child how and when to use it.

There are these cool trikes now that convert into a bike or scooter as the child grows, learns and develope. They are brilliant. I’m considering one for my daughter ATM.

My children have good old Razor scooters.

What did you end up getting? I saw one down the street that looked great – it had one wheel at the front, then two wheels at the back. Seemed like a easy one to use.

Kmart and Big W have the 3 wheeled scooters which are great, only around $15.

One that has 2 wheels at the front and you turn by putting pressure on the left or right wheel

Razor scooters are great for kiddies

We got our first a razor scooter from Kmart/big w, one of them. It has three wheels one in front two in the back. That was four years ago, he now has the two wheeled one and my youngest has the three wheeler. It s awesome, it has survived two boys and still going strong. The three wheels are great to learn on before transitioning the the two wheeler.

I hope you managed to find a suitable scooter for your kid. Did you find an appropriate sized one? That would be my biggest concern, that they would all be so big

I’d say a 3 wheeler (2 at the front and 1 at the back) especially if he hasnt ridden one before these are much easier to control for a little one.

My kids have some from kmart.. They were cheap but just what they needed.
