Sing to your child from the time they are born and then gradually move on to reading short stories. They love to listen to the tone and lilt of your voice and the expression you put into it. Reading is so important to a child’s life.

As early as possible !

As a book lover I believe it is never to young to start reading with your baby, my favourite moments are the cuddle up each night to read before bed, my little one is just shy of 13 months but she loves to listen and follows along with me. If you are worried about them sitting still for long enough start with short books or ones with sounds to keep the attention getting them to press the sounds in the right moments.
