I used liquid for 20 years and last year switched to Omo gold powder after reading the choice reviews and it really does work I would say it’s easily 50% better and I don’t have to do anywhere near as much additional stain removal

My favourite is Norwex Ultra Power Plus as it doesn’t have any fillers, cleans well and is good for the environment. That one is more expensive but you only need a teaspoon per load so it lasts a while. If I’m buying a supermarket brand I get Aware Sensitive for similar reasons.

I only use radiant as it cleans really well without having to scrub the stains. It is great to soak socks in to keep them white and it has a great fragrance.

I mostly buy OMO Sensitive, as I find it cleans well and is gentle on my son’s skin (he has eczema). Occasionally I will buy dynamo, great for stain removal. And I did like the Earth Choice one, suitable for grey water use. It often depends on what I find on special, although I try and have a spare OMO in the cupboard well before I need it.

I actually swapped to liquid 6 months or so after buying front loader machine – I use radiant /dynamo – love the smell and find it cleans well. I had trouble powder not dissolving properly occasionally.

My favorite washing powder is the Surf 2 in 1, it has the fabric softener in the powder, so i no longer have to buy it separately and the smell on my clothes lasts for days.

Our choice is Fab and Softly for delicates.

I love Earth Choice laundry liquid. You don’t need much and it respects the environment. It’s more than 4 years that I just buy this brand.
