Hello!

I got morning sickness throughout the day no matter what time it was.

When did you experience morning sickness, and when was the worst time you experienced it?

  • I was amazingly lucky and in all 3 of my pregnancies I never once experienced morning sickness. My Mum never experienced it either so I will be interested to know if my daughters battle with it.

  • My morning sickness was always late afternoon into the evening! Horrible just horrible. I would have a dry biscuit and sip on milk.

  • Me too. It was an all day thing. I found it worst of a night time when tea was cooking. The smell would have me running to the loo every time :(

  • Through the whole day but it was the worst at night after dinner. It was horrible. It stopped for about a week and then I started throwing up whenever I got heartburn.

  • 3pm every day, on the dot – every pregnancy.

  • Mine was only at dinner time whilst I was preparing the evening meal and the cooking smells made me feel sick.

  • With my first I only got sick at night, I was so confused because I thought it was morning sickness for a reason!
With my second it was all day! All day everyday! From the moment I woke up until I went to bed! & I did not get Sundays off!
With my third it hasn’t been so bad. Only occurs every now & then but of course it is always at the worst possible times & when I least expect it, in the shopping centre, at my partners work, over my childrens breakfast!
    The joys of pregnancy!

  • I was lucky to not have any.

  • That’s the great thing (NOT!!) about morning sickness, it’s not just confined to the morning. Sometimes it’s all day :/

  • For babies 1 and 3, I was mainly sick from mid afternoon until bedtime. For baby 2, it was mostly in the morning. And baby 4, I was fine. My worst trigger was for baby 1 and 2 every time I smelled coffee – couldn’t even carry someone else a cup. My only solution, keep hydrated and rest (not always practical with other kids but sometimes essential).

  • From 9weeks with my first and 6weeks with my second pregnancy…….morning sickness?!? 24/7 for sure, it started at 5am some days and finished at midnight depending on how the babies were positioned and how they felt.

  • I don’t know why they call it morning sickness when most of the time it will happen 24/7 on and off for many women including myself!!!

  • I had all day sickness

  • Start the morning sickness around 6 week and the worst time is 8 week to 12 week. After 13 week,it goes away.

  • The middle of the night. I was up heaving all night long.

  • My ‘morning’ sickness started at about 4am and didn’t go away until about 10pm when I went to sleep.

  • Oh God, Morning Sickness! It hit me whenever there was the smell of food cooking, so that posed great difficulties at dinnertime, or whenever i went past the food court at the local westfield shopping centre, that is until a wonderful doctor put me onto vitamin B12, that help wonders.

  • I’m 34 weeks & have experienced morning sickness almost every single day. I found times to be random. Most the time it’s between 3am – 7am. The movement when I wake to go to the toilet would make me feel sick, I would start to get the wet mouth feeling then within minutes I would have a foamy saliva spew. (Trust me, these are a lot nicer to spew up than food or bile) I can’t even lick the most tiniest little bit of yogurt off my finger while making my daughters lunch without going for round two. Certain smells trigger it on too, eg. cooking eggs, wet nappy, smelly farts. Was recommended loads of stuff to try from drink more water to eat less at night, even the tables they recommended didn’t help.
Was told by the midwife to live with it :(

  • I had morning sickness from 6weeks 24 hours a day 7 days a week and it didn’t go away intil I gave birth

  • I’m 15 weeks pregnant and still haven’t experienced morning sickness at all.
