I loved my advent electric breast pump so easy to use and clean

I bought a Medela Swing. My sister recommended it and the reviews I read online were all pretty good. I bought it through the Australian Breastfeeding Association which ended up being the only benefit I got from that membership!

Anything double and electric. Half the time spent pumping means more time to sleep!

Medela swing here too. It’s quick and easy. I always ramp up the settings after a minute or two so it’s quicker again.
I don’t know about others, but I have needed both hands (one to hold bottle, one to attach), so I can’t imagine how difficult a double would be.

Anything that is electric. The manual ones are really hard work and your hands will thank you for it. The electric ones are much quicker at getting the milk out.

It was a bit pricey but I would recommend it!

It’s electric so it saves time and is really compact and has a carry bag, easy if you are on the go and forgot to pump.

Super easy to use and clean.

It has adjustable settings and can be plugged into a wall or use batteries.

I used a Philips Avent, and had no problems with it.

Medela swing. It’s expensive but worth every penny. I had one before the medela and it stopped working within two weeks. I had no problems with the swing and it so simple and easy to use. It also fit in my handbag if I needed to take it out with me! I pumped at wedding

I have used a medela, avent and pigeon all great. I would recommend an electric pump but I never needed a dual pump. I think you need to consider what you are using it for- you might need a double if expressing for your baby while at work

Electric is less time consuming, Medela Symphony and Lactina or Ameda Elite and Platinum are what the hospitals use.

I have the medela, it imitates the baby suckling and I think its the one most hospitals recommend. A friend said go electric, the manual ones can hurt. This one was easy to use and not uncomfortable or painful. I think it is worth the money (it was a bit pricey). There’s a Phillips one on this site that you could try to win (if you are in the red on the leaderboard). A friend wasn’t anle to bf her first but got a lot of support with her second and was able to bf her. Good luck, there seems to be a lot of support now available through lactation consultants, midwives, baby clinics, hospital and aust breastfeeding assoc. The baby clinic I went to had a breastfeeding group too

I have tried both an electric and manual pump, and I prefer the Avent manual pump. it is easy to carry around and you can pump easily..

I just used a manual Avent one and no issues with it.

If possible get a double pump, it saves on time but they are more expensive.

I am currently breastfeeding my little one and have the Avent manual breast pump. It’s great and I use it every day but I am going to get the electric one for the next Bub as it will make it so much easier and I’m pretty sure that you get more milk from it.
