There are programmes you can find online that teach children games involving maths and English. It’s a fun way for them to learn while playing. Some sites include:

Ask your kids’ teachers whether they really need extra help at this stage. Perhaps get a uni student studying to be a primary teacher to do some coaching.

I would talk to their teachers first especially if parent interviews are coming up as that’s the best opportunity , then ask them for recommendations. Normally they might know some contacts or themselves do tutoring on the side . I found a lot during parent interviews which I never knew so that was an eye opener. Good luck.

If they are not getting the support they need in their school then the first step would be to address that. Talk to their teachers and they may even be able to provide some tools to extend them at home.

What’s wrong with just sending them to school? That’s where most kids learn most things. They’re only grade 2, I don’t think you need to be stressing too much about pushing them into school work
