  • As early as possible. I like to take advantage of the sales throughout the year

  • As soon as possible! May aswell grab the item whilst it’s on sale.

  • All year I get bargain stuff and then we decide around mid year – September on the big item and order it

  • I just started this wk as my car will go for repair before Xmas and won’t be able to hunt for gift then

  • I usually start around the Click Frenzy and Black Friday sales!

  • All year we buy little things on sale and then just ordered the main present of their cubby house

  • I buy presents all over the year if I come across a good one. And put it aside for birthdays or Xmas.

  • I buy what I can when I can. Presents, decorations, packet and tinned food etc Fresh foods I get closer to the big day

  • We tend to give food hampers so I usually don’t buy anything till early December.

  • I usually stsrt in July but keep a tab if what am spending as we live on one wage….

  • During the year I look out for anything on special or offering great rebates or cash back. If I see something I want to gift, then I’ll purchase it early. If it doesn’t end up on special during the year then I’ll wait and purchase it closer to Christmas.

  • I don’t even really think about it until well into November! I might buy a few bits and pieces but I often leave Christmas things to the last minute. Hubby and I don’t really buy stuff for each other either.

  • I have already started mine and bought a few pieces I know she will love and have been on sale. I try and look throughout the year so that most things I get her are on sale to save a few dollars.

  • Seasonal and other food from the markets days before Christmas is always heavily reduced and we get so many good deals. Perishables are always heavily reduced. There is also a delightful atmosphere at the markets.

  • We do the toy/gift side of things starting now. If I se something on special ill grab it and put it away. Saves so much stress closer to christmas. I do the food shopping in the week prior

  • We buy less these days; less presents and less food. We are trying to reduce consumption and clutter. We buy and give experiences as presents and buy seasonal and local produce for Christmas with minimal treats. This method also means we do not have to purchase for Christmas throughout the year.

  • I’m always keeping an eye out for ideas throughout the year and keep a list. So much easier for those difficult to buy for people. The main actual shopping I start in October and try to have it done a month before Xmas so no stress.

  • I buy things as gifts throughout the year whenever I find them. I start panicking around November though if I’m not at least 50% through my list. Groceries I leave until about a week or two before Christmas.

  • I’ve already started doing my Xmas shopping. I buy a lot of things online and I don’t want to get caught out in the Xmas rush. One year I left it a bit late and some of the gifts didn’t come until after New Year and I was terribly embarrassed. So now I start in September. Then I don’t have to worry.

  • It certainly isn’t on my mind yet.
