Hello!

Which is the best store to purchase stationery? Do any stores have benefits and incentives?

  • Are you talking about stationary as in writing paper or stationery as in pens, sticky tape dispensers etc.?
As writing pads you can get some lovely ones from online Japanese paper stores, just google it.
With stationery, typo has super funky stuff, kikki k has some classic looking pieces and Smiggle is great for younger kids.

  • Research says that Office works comes out best for quality & price. Personally I get most from Kmart and BigW

  • Kikki k is a lovely store to buy stationery and typo is also good and not too expensive!

  • I find Kmart has a great range of kids products at great prices.

  • If you register with Kikki K (free) you get a $10 birthday voucher each year to use within one month. I\’ve got a number of things there on sale too and they\’re designed really well.

  • Officeworks is a great place to start.

  • I like to check out the newsagents for stationary. I usually find lots of other little bits and bobs that aren’t in other stores too, which is good

  • depends. i have to have a pen mate pen. i don’t really feel comfortable writing with other things lol.

  • I think that Officeworks may be connected to Flybuys.
It really depends what type of stationey you need, what you are going to use it for, whether it is for adults or school pupils. If you need paper for a printer I’m not sure whether Officeworks is the cheapest for that or not. I love the idea that things are recycled, however if you plan on using the printer al lot we found that the recycled paper shed tiny bits of “lint” a lot and thd printer didn’t react to it too kindly. If you are thinking of using it for a home business I suggest you weigh up the difference in prices and possible additonal maintenance of your printer – an expensive exercise.

  • If you want to splash out a bit on cards etc, then Phoenix Trading (online) has some lovely stuff. Not the cheapest, but sometimes you want something a bit special.

  • I don’t know if they have rewards, but Officeworks I find is the best for stationary. They have everything you could think of, including some really funky accessories.

  • Thanks for all of the answers ladies – off to hunt at these shops this weekend for some stationery products. :)

  • I love Kikki K, they have some lovely stuff.

  • Typo is really cool. We were introduced to this shop by a friend of my daughter just some months ago. I find it quite expensive, but it has very special stationary.
Smiggle is so colourful. My daughter has quite a lot of things from this brand. A very modern and happy brand.
Kikki is nice too indeed. I love looking at their products!

  • Thanks Melanie – have not heard of a couple of these and will investigate! :)

  • One of my favourite stores for stationary is Kikki K. They have absolutely gorgeous stuff of very good quality. Another favourite is Typo. They are a bit quirkier and I always find some gems here. There’s also Smiggle who do bright and colourful products. Love stationary. I have a bit of a thing for it. K Mart also have some good stuff occasionally and it’s generally cheaper. :)
