  • I find the sizes in different brands vary greatly. Sometimes the photos are also deceiving and the clothes don’t look like the picture. My Daughter also dislikes some textures so won’t wear certain clothes. In the past I’ve also had problems with the fit on my son as he’s quite tall and pants don’t fit right. I need to go in store mostly now when buying clothes for the family.

  • I have found sizing to be hit and miss, and the fabrics can sometimes be thinner or heavier than I was expecting. I prefer to buy instore, but sometimes I just can’t pass up a good online buy.

  • Sizing differs hugely from different stores and brands so I prefer to try clothing on before buying. I also lie to “feel” the fabric and look at its quailty before purchasing anything. Ive had a few terrible online experiences when the product doesnt match the picture too so a visit to the shops is really great idea

  • Something I’ve found a bit lately which has been very frustrating is stock not actually existing. I’ll make a purchase, wait over a week for notifications, only to be sent an out of stock email. Surprisingly Myer has been terrible at this. Hard to avoid though, I don’t have a physical store near me and love their kids range.

  • I find ever store sizing is different and you just never know if the size is going to fit and then you have the worry of returning it. Sometimes it is just not worth the hassle and easier to go in store and try it on with your kids to ensure the length is right for them.

  • Definitely how sizing changes from store to store. A pair of leggings will fit my toddler perfectly, but the same size in another brand will be way too small. I wish it would be standardised across all brands. I’d also like dimensions to be included. A shirt will fit well but need to be rolled way up due to excessively long arms

  • I don’t like buying clothes and shoes online much as you can’t try it on before buying and there is a lot of discrepancy between sizes of different brands. Also you can’t really see and feel the quality of the material of a photo and the photos nearly always picture a better image than the reality. Returning an item is a hassle and comes most often with extra costs
