This Aussie Pub is serving Golden Gaytime Martinis and we’re all about it.

For just $15, The Beach Hotel, Seaford in Adelaide is serving up delicious, frozen honeycomb goodness. The combo is the perfect mix of childhood nostalgia and the classic martini served up with a sinful honeycomb biscuit crumb on top.

So if you live in Adelaide, get in quick – the pub only plans to serve Golden Gaytime Martinis for five or six weeks!

And for those of you who aren’t prepared to book a flight to SA to try this incredible drink, you can create your very own version at home with the recipe below courtesy of theurbanlist.com.

Ingredients

  • 30mL Butterscotch Schnapps
  • 15mL Tia Maria
  • 15mL Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 30mL cream
  • Streets Gaytime Crumbs
  • Ice

Method

  1. Combine Schnapps, Tia Maria, Baileys, ice and cream in a cocktail shaker and strain into a glass.
  2. Frost the glass with Streets Gaytime Crumbs (eat a few in the process).

That’s it. Two steps. Simple recipe, delicious drink, a little bit of childhood nostalgia..what’s not to love?

  • this sounds very yum… though it’s not technically a “Martini” without either gin or vodka, it’s more like a daiquiri. At $15, it’s a bit rich for my blood.
