  • I think everyone is different! You do what you can do and I’m sure people stop for a variety of reasons. For me, my milk starts to dry up at 4 months… I’m a great cow in the beginning but not so much from 4 months. With my two boys I gave up at 4 months… I was exhausted they were feeding for an hour(trying to feed) every two hours!

This time round with my daughter, 4 months came around and she dropped a weight percentile. So I put her on formula. I don’t want to stop so she is bottle fed and every second day she gets an expressed bottle once a day. That has been happening for about 2months. I go back to work in about 6 weeks so I guess I will stop expressing then as my work ison the road and unpredictable so scheduled expressing sessions are unlikely.

  • I was too young and too uncomfortable to breast feed mine for long. 6 weeks was the longest but I am hoping to make at least 3 months with this one.

  • about 14months. they can be hard to wean off but i had no issues with my kids

  • 1st daughter – 21 months
2nd/3rd daughters – 16 months, would loved to get to 18 months but they weaned themselves.
