  • I had a dollar mite account when I was little but we opens a Westpac account for the kids. A reward saver one but unfortunately no newsletters or activities.

  • For some reason only the CBA comes and visits schools to promote childrens saving account etc.No other bank does it , so I would say that bank .

  • I found the Commonwealth bank to have a great kids savings account

  • I have heard commonwealth has a really good one but as I’m with Westpac we opened up an “reward saver” for the kids, no monthly fees and you get bonus interest when you deposit any amount :)

  • Dollar mite accounts are really good to use to start off!

  • We have only used Police Credit for our kids savings account. Easy to access but no games activities etc

  • My daughter likes people choice. She found out she could get $50 for signing other people up so she asked around to those who had little ones without bank accounts. She earnt $250 for signing 5 people

  • I think it is good to start them with the Commonwealth bank through their schooling years & then let them make their choice in the working years.

  • Looks like the Commonwealth Bank is the best so far?

  • The commonwealth bank do. They offer extra interest if deposits are made every month and no withdrawls

  • The Commonwealth Bank has a good kids saving account, but I do not know about any others. Would love to know about other banks too.

  • i know that the schools use the commonwealth bank
