This was a school favourite of mine. When I bought it and cooked it, it was actually quite soggy and did not crispy up nicely in the oven.

Who doesn’t love a Chico roll ??These are great to have in the freezer I love the taste of them the vegetables and flavouring make these taste so nice .

I don’t think I can fault this have been eating this for years the taste is always nice and it’s always good to have for a quick and easy meal

Chiko rolls are yummy and are great if U don’t want to cook a large meal great for a small snack.chiko rolls are a treat in our house.

Great for entertaining and is always and easy and convenient snack for when you have guests over or when your simply just needing something easy on thoughs busy days.

These didn’t quite taste the same as I remembered them but I did want to be healthy and oven baked them. Might shallow fry next time or buy an air fryer

Not as good as I remember then, but I guess I oven baked mine and I’m sure they would have been deep fried back in the day.

My son & i love these! They’re delicious, and are the perfect hot food for cool days inside because they hold heat so well! Perfect when sprinkled with some chicken salt!

I know they are not very good for you, but oh how I love Chicko Rolls!! They taste so yummy and are such a great treat. We’re been cooking ours in the Air Fryer to make them slightly less naughty.

I bought these as I was curious in what they taste like. They taste like cardboard.

These are not the best tasting things in the world but at every year I crave them and will eat all within one week. I use to eat them a lot more when I was a teenager

I love these chikko rolls. They taste exactly the same as when I was growing up. They are delicious. I don’t think I have seen any other brands aroun either.

I was a bit disappointed with these. For some reason they didn’t taste as good as I remembered. I have bought them again from a takeaway shop but won’t be buying them from the supermarket again

Love that you can have one from the local fish and chip shop but also in take home packs from the supermarket. Meat and vegies in a delicious crunchy coating they are so yummy.

After having one at my parents house in their airfryer I went and purchased some. Not having an airfryer I had to deep fry and didn’t taste anywhere near as good! Now I need to purchase an airfryer to satisfy my chicko roll cravings ????

I love these Chiko Rolls. I always like to have them in the freezer. Quick to heat up, healthy, full of veggies. Affordable. Awesome

Every now and then I get a craving to eat these. It is much cheaper to buy this then order them at the fish and chip shop

fantastic!!!!! Bring the local fish and chip shop straight to your freezer. Tastes very delicious, a true Aussie icon. Love that it comes with the chiko roll paper bags, so cool. We accidentally overcooked them AND IT TASTE GREAT!

These taste just like they do from the local take away store- when deep fried, although you could also do them in the airfryer. Either way, I love the taste, batter is perfect and they are nice and crunchy!

My family love Chiko’s! They taste authentic. I cook them in my air fryer as it’s healthier. Crispy on the outside, juicy vegetables on the inside. Comes with wrappers, too. I just wish there were more than 4 in the pack.

I have been buying these for years and they are still the same tasty chiko rolls I have always enjoyed. They crisp up really well in the air fryer.

Who doesn’t like a chicko roll…….I had gone for years without buying chicko rolls as I was trying to avoid the fat intake of deep frying. After recently purchasing an air fryer, it was one of the first things I bought to try and i wasn’t disappointed. The air fryer cooked them perfectly without the added fat from a deep fryer and they came out perfect. Golden brown and crunchy on the outside, with that same vegetable filling that I remember from my youth!

I love these as a treat, as it is not something you would want to eat all the time. I didn’t fry them I just put them in the oven and baked them and it took me straight back to my teenage years. I loved them

Can anyone tell me why a takeaway cooked chiko roll and a home cooked chiko roll aren’t exactly the same taste wise? It’s disconcerting, they are the exact same brand, yet cooked at home isn’t as good as the takeaway? Could it be the oil? Or maybe the fryer? There’s not a lot to make accountable for the difference. Or could it be the lower quality ones are sold frozen in the supermarket?

Birdseye chiko rolls are delicious and taste exactly as they did when we were in school. Golden pastry outer and soft vegetable inner. How could you not love these chiko rolls

Love love love these! It reminds me of my child hood we always used to eat them I still love the taste but they are not the healthiest product.

I love these for a quick snack, especially while breast feeding they are so handy to chuck in the air fryer for 15 minutes, then munch down while giving bubs a feed!

I used to love chicko rolls as a kid but they aren’t what I remember them to be. Very high in calories, even when cooked in the air fryer so I tend to avoid these days. Still nice

We also cook these in the air fryer with no oil but they are still a bit greasy. I like how crispy they get and the flavours that mesh together. The pack size could be a bit larger and they are a bit on the expensive side.

These remind me of fish, chips, dim sims and chikos on the beach from a take away place. These crisp up nicely in the airfryer and still taste ok (although seem to be better after a big night out ha ha)

Fabulous Aussie icon of good right here. Golden crispy crunch coating and smooshy soft cabbagey filling. Eight minute in the deep fryer and they’re done.

Hubby buys them all the time and they are gone before they hit the freezer

I buy these for my partner and he cooks them in the air fryer. Says they taste better in air fryer then in oil. They are nice and crunchy. A bit pricey so only buy when they are on special

Who doesn’t have a childhood memory of eating these bad boys! Love that we can now cook them at home but I think they still taste better at a sports ground or from the food court/fish n chip shop. I personally think they need a deep fryer to keep maximum taste

I only tried the chiko rolls sometime back. they taste good and are easy to cook. 4 pack serves our fam of 3. only if there were more vege stuffing.

Nothing beats homemade giant spring rolls which is what these are like they taste ok I’m not complaining and they are quick enough to cook

Haha! I loved frying these treats up. Quite abit of oil in small pan. One or two at a time when oil is hot. Turn as needed. They come out golden and have the Chiko paper bag with the label to serve. I love Chiko rolls as a treat. And to make them for Friday night tea, easy and exactly the same as fish & chip shop. It is deep fried. So…..depends on your feelings. I felt great.

Didn’t really like it. Has an plastic taste to it and comes out wet and soggy. Definitely not something I will buy again. Not for me

These chiko rolls are okay. More vegie filling would be better but we buy them every now and then. My husband and I grew up loving chiko rolls and still order them when we get fish n chips but for the occasional craving we purchase these to cook at home.

I love Chiko rolls! Yes they have changed over the years but they are still a tasty treat! 15-18 mins in the air fryer and you have a perfect crunchy snack!

There are 4 chiko rolls in these packs so that is perfect for our family as each person gets one when we make a pack.

I buy these particular chiko rolls because there is 4 which is one for every member of the family and so perfect for a nice dinner.

I loved these growing up but now they seem strange and more mushy inside rather than packed with vegetable. Disappointed and not how I remember it

I went through a phase a few years ago of eating these all the time. I wouldn’t eat them now but they do taste alright.

Well I have always loved chiko rolls but there is less pearl barley in them now.
Still tasty.I would still recommend this product to other people.

I remember Chiko Rolls being very full with vegetables however now they seem to be more mushy and flour packed. They still taste nice but just not as I remember them as a child.

I must admit that the old fashioned deed fried chiko rolls have a different (and preferable) taste to these Birds Eye Chiko Rolls, however these are a much healthier version and that makes the different taste a little easier to get used to.

It’s great that these are in the freezer section but they didn’t live up to my expectations. I found the taste isn’t the same as they need to be fried not oven cooked for best results.

I couldn’t believe it when I seen these in the freezer section at the shops. I love a good takeaway chicko and now I can cook them up perfectly myself.

These need to stay in the past as a fond memory. Compared to other frozen snacks these don’t measure up. The taste is not there and I find them too salty.

I cook them I the oven as they are not so oily this way. These are great for an easy, tasty dinner when you don’t have the time to cook and the kids love them.

Chiko Rolls have been around forever and a day and they still have it. As a special treat I will do these for my family in our deep fryer. Everyone loves them and I love them because it’s the easiest dinner ever!

An oldie but a goodie. I do find them to get a little oily though. They cook up all right in the oven but you have to watch them otherwise sometimes they split and go everywhere

Bird’s Eye chiko rolls were a favourite snack when l was growing up and l loved them.Today they did not quite measure up and l won’t be buying again.

These aren’t the greatest in nutrition nor do they look pretty but they tasty ok. We struggled to get them to cook right with a home deep fryer but found they bakes up ok.

I love chicko rolls. Yep if you have a deep fryer at home I highly recommend getting yourself a pack of these. They cook alright in the oven too.

I used to buy these with my pocket money growing up. They are a lot nicer if you can deep-fry these however grilling will still do the job. The pastry can be quite tough to chew through and absolutely do not attempt to eat this straight after cooking, you will burn your mouth as the filling will be molten hot. The filling is really yum but includes ingredients you wouldn’t really expect to put together. Overall very delicious

I used to be a huge fan of chiko rolls but now either something has changed or my tastebuds have. The pastry also came out quite “soggy”. Won’t buy again.

We had these as a special treat on a very cold day. It was a food blast from the past and we loved eating them – good flavour and the recipe seems to have endured.

Did you know the chiko was invented by a boilermaker, and he nailed it.
I love a god chiko snack on the weekends, perfect and easy to heat.

This was my first experience with these and I have to say it will be my last. I wasn’t impressed with the taste and won’t be buying them again

Birds Eye Chiko Rolls are a huge hit with the whole family, they are so easy and quick to cook and really reasonably priced. I personally love to add a bit of pink salt and vinegar before eating.
