This is our favourite go to Friday night dinner which is also easy for the kids to put together with some steamed vegetables and creamy mashed potato. The herb and garlic flavour is also quite tasty and can be enhanced with some lemon juice.

Okay, so these aren’t as good as fresh fish from the fish and chip shop, but they are still quite tasty for a frozen product and I love the flavour of the crumb.

I was pleasantly surprised by the taste, texture and the ratio of fish to batter. There was enough herb and garlic flavour too and yet it didn’t overpower the lovely fish taste.

If fresh is not available this is a good substitute as it is so handy. This is handy with salad or chips, the quality is very good and retains the crisp coating.

I’m not going to lie, we very rarely have a frozen fish and much prefer the fresh one. I must admit though, that this one from Birds Eye is actually really good and we did like the herb and garlic taste. Ideal for quick lunch/ dinner. Loved it with mashed potatoes.

The combination of herb/garlic in the fish gives it a bit of a lift from just plain crumbed fish and as always don’t get disappointed with this brand . The only negative is be careful of the oven temperature as it could dry the fish out too much . I’m hoping one day they might make it similar to a Chicken Kiev where they have a more of the garlic sauce on the inside , hence that’s why it is easier to dry put with this one .

I love Birds Eye oven baked herb and garlic fish. It is so easy to prepare dinner with these fish pieces and some chips in the oven. Just add a salad and it’s done.

I buy these for the hubby and the kids. Whack them in the dinner, quick and easy. The are a real hit, so I guess that means that they’re taste. A bit nicer on the budget than fresh fish all the time.
