This is really good for when I had a the car go up to its headlight in floodwater (it was parked in it). The water got into the matting on the floor. I stuck a couple of these in and it really helped. Also have a room where moisture is high and works well here too.

I buy this rather than the damp rid as it has a lid/seal and I worry my kids will get into the cupboard and tip the damp rid over or consume some of the pebbles. These work really well.
