I usually use a purple shampoo but when I was given a bottle of Schwarzkopf Extra Care Shampoo Colour Protect (plus conditioner) I thought I’d give it a go to see what it was like. The shampoo lathers well, rinses out easily and leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth with a nice shine. But, I really need a purple shampoo because I have blonde colour treated hair. Nevertheless, this is quite an okay shampoo.

Its creamy texture works up into a good lather and, unlike some shampoos, rinses out with no residue leaving your hair feeling soft, smooth and gloriously shiny! I used to wash and condition my hair every day before switching to this shampoo, now I only condition weekly. I have thick, dry and unruly hair and this works a treat for keeping it moisturized and manageable.
