No artificial colours or flavours, Made in Australia and Formulated with chicken, to promote joint health, it’s like it was made for my puppy dog. I would definitely buy this over a higher price product or well known brand
My 9yo red heeler was having what the bet thinks might be pancreatitis symptoms after feeding him the same brand for a few years with no issues. I was then having to some food fresh for him but we tried this and he LOVES IT. Three cups is the recommended amount for him and he hasn’t had another horrible experience with his tummy pain since. A miracle! Definitely sticking to this one!
As a dog gets to around seven years old, they’re getting on a fair bit so having food that does not contain as many calories is helpful for keeping the weight down
My Staffy has this on hand at all times beside her water bowl. She is eight this month. Never had a problem with Optimum. She has been raised on it since she was a puppy. She does not smell and does not get any allergies from it.
I try to feed my dog premium food that isn’t full of fillers and won’t upset his stomach. Sometimes I forget to get it and I usually buy optimum as a temporary replacement. He does need more of it than his premium food to fill up and it does make him poo a lot more as there’s less goodness to absorb but he could do a lot worse.
