My indoor cat freaks out when outside but she still loves a bit if fresh air so we put her in her harness and take her out for a walk. She loves it.. and it feels secure and comfortable for her.

Both of my dogs have these harnesses and they are great. Easy to put on and you have control over the dog without choking them or hurting their necks. Machine washable and come in some nice colours.
