  • Great for cooking

    5 out of 5

I love using this Bulla cream for cooking savoury meals, like butter chicken or the filling in cannelloni. It is still rich and flavourful, just thinner than regular thickened cream. For desserts I tend to use regular as you won’t get the fluffy peaks whipping this.

  • Perfect

I buy this cream for pouring on desserts and to use in cooking. I like that it has less fat than the non-light version. I don’t buy it for whipping as I don’t think that the light ones whip up. I love supporting a local Victorian company too.

  • Good lighter option for cooking.

This is incredible because I can’t tell the difference from ordinary cream. Excellent for use in cooking and as a creamy basis. I
My dishes get a beautiful creamy texture from it without being overly heavy. This cream thickens poorly for cakes, etc., but it’s ideal for cooking.

  • Good product

I really enjoy this product. I like the fact that it is on the lighter side. The flavour is still good, but you can definitely tell it’s lackign

I really like to use this cream in My cooking, especially carbonara as it’s so yummy and cream it light. Easy to find and great price.

  • No difference

I don’t taste the difference compared to regular cream so this is amazing! Great for cooking and using as a creamy base. Highly recommended from me

  • Slightly healthier

    4.5 out of 5

This is a slightly healthier option but I’m not too convinced as it’s cream after all and is likely to be full of fat. Tastes great though

  • Doesn’t whip

Trying to whip to the point it separated

  • For Thickening Sauces

    3.5 out of 5

I use Bulla’s light thickened cream when I need to thicken pasta sauces. It adds a lovely creamy texture to my dishes without being too heavy. This cream is perfect for cooking, however it doesn’t thicken well for cakes etc.

  • not really thickened

    2.5 out of 5

I couldn’t really tell the difference between this Bulla Light Thickened cream and the supermarket brand light thickened cream except the later was cheaper. Both obvious don’t whip and both were quite runny. I would probably go with the one that was more budget friendly if i had to decide.

  • Only good for pouring

    3 out of 5

Because of it being light, it lacks the fat content needed to whip it. So can only use as pouring cream or in recipes. Slightly higher sugar content then full fat cream

This is a our to go to cream for cooking it’s great and lower in fat and tastes great too. Not heavy on the tummy either. Not a bad price too.

  • Great for a light cream

I always have this in my fridge to add to lots of dishes. It’s a great cream from a brand I trust and I love that it is light.

  • Handy to have in the fridge

I use this cream regularly. I use cream quite a lot during the week whether it be a bit in soup or a creamy pasta. Sometimes if I find it a bit thin I just thicken with a bit of cornflour. Good taste and handy portion so not as much waste.

I use this cream for all my cooking needs! It makes quiche delicious, scrambled eggs next level and carbonara simply amazing! Also perfect for garlic or pepper sauce.

  • Perfect cream

This cream is perfect. No point getting full fat as this tastes the same but is better for you. I use this for carbonara. However takes longer to whip

This is a great tasting light and “healthy” cream. Tastes great with strawberries, or within carbonara for example. Not the best for whipping though, use a different cream

  • Really is light

    3.5 out of 5

I used this last night in our families carbonara. It was so light and didn’t have any rich overpowering taste to it. It was a perfect fit.

  • Nice taste

This light cream is still nice and creamy and light. I use it to add to my pumpkin soup towards the end and to quiches. So good
