A dried chick pea to soak overnight to create delicious chickpea patties, soups, veggie bakes and hummus dip. Quite a long shelf life so handy as a pantry staple too.

I like all of the products that Ive tried so far from this brand. I tend to use more canned chick peas due to time constraints, but when i buy and use these i am happy with the product.

I like these for hommus, soak over night and they’re ready to go. A bit more labour intensive then the tinned ones, but worth it. Also great added to soups and stews

In your pantry I can quickly grab this out and soak over night to make myself and my little one hummus though its not the same as the tin the tin is much handier

What can you say about a chickpea really? Good tasting addition to your food. I prefer to buy in a can rather than this way, as you can’t use these last minute.

The Mackenzie dried chickpeas are great to use when making hommus from scratch just have to soak them in water overnight and cook them the next day

McKenzie’s Dried Chick Peas are a staple for a good pantry. I have a range of McKenzie’s products in my pantry for all of my cooking.

It can be a bit of a pain having to soak these, I often forget, but it is handy to have them in the pantry, and they work out more cost effective than the tinned ones, especially if you are using lots.

I love chickpeas because you can to so many different things with them, you can put them in a soup, turn them into patties, make hummus out of them etc.
I don’t usually like buying the dry chick peas because you have to soak them over night.

But they are quite tasty in dishes
