I have a few in my cupboard for when I’m feeling really lazy and want to use rice with a sauce. The problem with these packets is that you can taste the plastic after microwaving so lots of sauce to cover that. Otherwise it’s okay.

The most convenient microwave rice! Very very flagrant and has a beautiful hint of jasmine. Also very fluffy. Only loses a point as it is significantly more expensive than other microwave rices.

While this is a fast alternative to cooking rice yourself, I’m not a fan of the consistency of this rice. It’s a little smooshy. I’d rather set the rice cooker up.

I buy sun rice when it goes on half price sale as it’s cheaper than the store brand at this point. Cooks up great in the microwave when time poor

This rice is great when I’m time poor! It is quick and easy and turns out well every time! Light and fluffy and so versatile!

Great for when you just need one serve of rice but I prefer to make my own as it’s cheaper and no added oil like in these packets

We eat a lot of rice and we love a rice that is easy to cook. Sunrice microwave jasmine rice in 90 seconds is just that easy to cook and tastes fabulous.

I love the Sunrice Microwave Rice varieties and use this jasmine rice option to mix things up from time to time. Kids always like the white rice so this is great. Only takes 90 seconds and the rice is cooked. Perfect everytime. Just so quick and easy that I don’t cook rice any other way.

This is exactly as it says. Rice in 90 seconds. You make it in the bag so good for being away but it has a slight different consistency to rice you make yourself and my kids didn’t like it. I think the jasmin was a bit too strong. At home it’s flavour is much less and this is very concentrated so not for us but still a good product and quality was great.
