Basa fish fillets are on my fortnightly meal plan because they’re inexpensive, easy to cook and with some Thai seasoning or crumb, absolutely delicious. My kids love them!
Basa fillets are a very mild tasting fish fillet which are easy to cook up in a variety of ways – baked, steamed, pan fried, or crumbed and fried, it always tastes great and is one of the cheapest fish on the market.
Very tasty with a good besemel sauce. I add a little grated chedar and dill with some Vegeta seasoning to the besemel. Absolutely delicious. Goes well with boiled chat potatoes and broccoli.
I like to buy these in the bake bags with a teriyaki marinade. Serve it with green vegetables and mash made from potato and sweet potato and we are set. Good cheap fish when flavor is added.
