I couldn’t stand chai blends as tea bags after having had the real thing regularly through the trade relations of a former business. The real thing had made all the rest fall short and I had given up chasing a flavour I loved.

I was introduced to Madame Flavour Sultry Chai Tea Pods by a client a few years ago. I accepted her offer to try it reluctantly as we prepared for an afternoon conversation.

I am not going to say that it matches traditional Indian Chai. It doesn’t. But that is a good thing. The blend of ingredients and the obvious freshness gives this tea its own unique taste and aroma that simply can’t be captured by any of its competitors. It is unique and well worth trying even through hesitation as I did.

This tea is wonderfully rich, smooth and exotic! The flavour and aroma is just as the name suggests – sultry! Would definitely recommend this to all Chai lovers!
