these spongey fingers are a classic treat! Use them for either cooking, as a treat with your midday cuppa or amazing just as on its own.. so soft and lightly sugared.
Unibic sponge sweet finger biscuits go so great with a cup of tea or coffee. They are not too sweet and taste light and delicious. The finger biscuits are ideal when making tiramisu.
Have just submitted my family recipe for Tiramisu so thought it best to swing by and rate these amazingly delicious sponge biscuits. They soak up the orange juice beautifully in my family friendly version …they also make short work of the coffee if you are that way inclined, are perfect for trifle and are simply delicious dunked in a cuppa.
I have been buying this brand for years, you can’t go wrong. I make tiamisu (great for soaking coffee)but still hold shape and the children love just eating biscuits as is.
These biscuits form the base of my trifle every year at Christmas time. They soak up the alcohol perfectly and make a much nicer alternative to cake, having a firmer texture. Even my hubby who normally doesn’t like trifle, likes the one that I make with these!
I love this biscuit. I have it on hand to make a quick cake for entertaining and I save the leftover biscuits for my night time tea and dip it in their for a late night treat. It’s great for Tiramisu and a fruity sponge cake.
I have bought these numerous times when I have a sweet tooth and want to buy a light biscuit with a touch of sweetness due to the sugar sprinkles on top. Also very handy when you want to add some cream in the middle or make a trifle sweet combined . I think it is good enough to eat on its own anyway .
I believe these are the traditional biscuits used for a Tiramisu base. I have used them in this recipe as well as others and I have also eaten them as is. I like them and would recommend others give them a try.
These are perfect for tiramisu or a very fancy trifle. You dip these very quickly in port but we love to dip them in frangrlico. These are traditional Italian biscuits
These are more then a biscuit – they are a great basis to make a complete sweet by adding custard and cream on a layer by layer basis. Plus making Tiramisu is a great way to use theses too!
