Almonds add a delicious crunch and flavour to the beans!
Ingredients (serves 3)
- 2 cups green beans (fresh or frozen)
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
Method
- Cook your beans how you desire. We have frozen beans that we microwave for around 3 - 4 minutes.
- In a pan, lightly brown the slivered almonds.
- Mix (or sprinkle) the slivered almonds with the beans.
