Our family loves popcorn chicken but searching through the spice rack to check that you have all the spices isn’t always successful. The Nando’s peri peri medium heat is the perfect combination for a perfectly seasoned, slightly spices but not too hot batch of tender, seasoned, melt in your mouth popcorn chicken.

Ingredients (makes 1 Big batch of popcorn chicken)

  • 4 Chicken breast
  • 1 Medium peri peri Nando's chicken bag and bake
  • 1/2 cup Plain flour
  • 1 Summer salad of your choice

Method

  1. Dice chicken breasts
  2. Combine bag and bake seasoning with plain flour in paper bag provided
  3. Drop in diced chicken and shake well
  4. Pour carefully into deep fryer or air fryer and cook for 5-8 minutes
  5. Serve with your favourite salad. Either on top or with its own dipping sauce. Enjoy!

Notes

A great snack or light lunch for a hot summer instead of cookies in a hot oven

  • Great meal, nice and quick to whip up for the children especially during the school nights or when getting back late from extra curricular activities. I’m not sure how many spices are in the seasoning or what the ingredients are, I would have to taste test first before feeding my children.
