So very quick and easy and a very forgiving recipe – you can also cook in different shapes – photo is of my attempt at santa…..
Ingredients (makes 24 biscuits)
- 1/2 Cup Butter (room temp)
- 1/4 Cup Caster Sugar
- 1 Cup All purpose flour
- Cream butter and sugar
- Gradually add flour
- Take a spoonful at a time, roll into a ball. Place on trays a few centimetres apart. Flatten slightly. Press your thumb to make an indentation and add whatever your like - a spoonful of jam, or a chocolate drop, or a nut - these will take whatever you put on them. Bake at 325F for about 10 minutes - til just going golden.
