This creamy meal is one that everyone will love. All the vegetables and meat in one dish for easy clean up as well.

Ingredients (serves 10)

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen veggies (I used mixed, any type works)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder and/or salt (optional)

Method

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, veggies, garlic powder, and salt.
  2. Spray a large baking pan with cooking spray and spread chicken mixture evenly.
  3. Place pan in preheated oven, 180 degrees Celsius, and bake for about 35-45 minutes, or until cooked through.
  4. Remove from oven and serve!!

Notes

I have made it in the slow cooker; but it takes 2 to 3 hours to heat up enough to melt the cheese. Can be made Gluten Free by not adding the pasta. This would make it juicer and would need to be served in a bowl. Lactose free is also available if you use lactose free cheese and sour cream. This does not change the flavour.

  • This seems a little different. Not quite a soup or a casserole but more a bake. I’ll enjoy trying this one.
