Good for fixing those chocolate cravings, they also go well as lunchbox treats!

Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 250g Milk cooking chocolate
  • 50g Pouring cream
  • 1pkt Dried apricots
  • 1tsp Coconut oil

Method

  1. Place a metal mixing bowl on top of a saucepan filled with water, break up chocolate and place in bowl, stir with a wooden spoon until soft
  2. Gradually add in cream and coconut oil, turn off heat DON'T OVER HEAT CHOCOLATE it will separate if you do this
  3. Dip in your apricots and transfer to a wire rack to set

Notes

You really want to fold the chocolate rather than beat it

  • Oh wow, how nice would these be. I’m going to try making my own Candied Orange Peel, and I think it would be delicious choc-dipped. I’ve tried dipping fruit in chocolate before but it didn’t quite work out, maybe because I used straight chocolate, with nothing added. Can’t wait to try your recipe. Thanks so much!

  • I have never thought of making them myself, I have seen them in the shops and they are so expensive for what they are that I only buy them as a treat ever few months,
