  • 1 tbs Mayver's Hulled Tahini (chocolate base)
  • 1.5 tbs Mayver's Hulled Tahini
  • 2 tsp coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup
  • 3/4 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 tsp matcha powder

Method

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together tree ingredients until smooth. Spoon 1/2 tsp into each tree mould and pop into the freezer to set.
  2. Melt chocolate and stir in tahini. Spoon 1 tsp into the base of mini cupcake moulds. Add a tree to each and pop into the freezer to set. Store in the fridge or freezer.

  • These sound delicious and they look fantastic too. They Christmas trees look really effextive and you could even add some edible silver or coloured balls to them too. What a cute little handmade Christmas gift they would make. I’m sure my kids would love making these and giving them out as gifts ( if they didn’t eat them all first) thanks so much for sharing:)

  • I love tahini and Christmas recipes and this is a terrific recipe for me to make for the festive season.

    • I adore yummy maple syrup in recipes and have a supply of it in the pantry. Always keen to collect and cook recipes with maple syrup as an ingredient.
