A yummy family favourite! And such a versatile dish. You add or subtract anything you like.

Ingredients (serves 8)

  • 1 Shredded Roast Chook from shop
  • 1 600ml Thickened Cream
  • 6-8 Pieces of shortcut bacon diced
  • 2-3 Tbs Butter
  • 2-3 Tbs Flour
  • 1-2 cups Grated Cheese
  • 2 Pks Filo pastry
  • Spray oil
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees
  2. Using a pot, melt the butter. Once melted add flour and mix until combined
  3. Add thickened cream and stir until thickened. Then add your shredded chicken, bacon and grated cheese
  4. Once all combined, it’s time to assemble! Take one sheet of filo and spray with oil, repeat with a second sheet.
  5. Place 2Tbs of mixture towards the end of the sheet in the middle, fold both the length way sides and then roll.
  6. Place in greased tray and cook until lightly brown
