Super easy, super yummy crumbed prawns.

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 250g Cooked tiger prawns
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Each in their own bowls line up flour, egg and bread crumbs in this order add salt and pepper to the bread crumbs.
  2. Remove the prawns head, shell and vein the prawns but keep the tail on, this makes it easier to dip them.
  3. Coat the prawn lightly in flour, then dip in egg letting the excess drip off, roll in bread crumbs.
  4. Once all the prawns are coated, fry them in hot oil for 1 minute. Place on the paper towel to rid them of any excess oil.

Notes

I like to serve it with salad and a bit of Tatar sauce. The kids love to help make these.
