A traditional afternoon biscuit.

Ingredients (serves 10)

  • 240g oats
  • 210g butter
  • 150g Demera Sugar

Method

  1. Melt butter.
  2. Mix everything together.
  3. Press into a lined tin approx 25cm x 25cm
  4. Bake 190C 15 mins. cool in tray and cut into squares

Notes

be careful not to over cook. when it is lightly browned take it out of oven and let it cool at bit and then cut when warm, but leave in tray to cool.
