Easy to make gourmet pasta for the Philips Pasta and Noodle Maker.

Ingredients (makes 500 grams pasta)

  • 500g plain flour
  • 1 egg + water to make 180ml
  • 1/2 cup Finely chopped fresh flat leaf parsley

Method

  1. Set up the pasta machine with the 'wide flat' noddle attachment. Pour the flour and parsley into the bowl of the machine, and set to 2 cup setting. Meanwhile, crack the egg into the liquid jug and top with water to the 180ml line. Slowly pour into the machine. Cut pasta to length as it is extruded.
  2. Cook in a pot of salted boiling water for 5-6 minutes. Serve.

Notes

The wide-flat noddle attachment is not included with the machine, and is an additional accessory that can be purchased through Philips. This recipe should would work fine with the other discs included.

  • Looks wonderful – wish I had one of these machines.

  • Thanks for this idea – I’m a bit hesitant to add anything to the flour incase it clogs it but now that you’ve clearly done it I will give it a go!
