Gluten Free Chocolate Mousse is always a winner! Add some Nutella and it’s a mousse made in heaven.

Gluten Free Chocolate Mousse is such a great option when you want a quick and easy dessert everyone will love.

Just 3 ingredients, 15 minutes and you have a gluten free chocolate mousse ready to delight.  This recipe makes enough to serve 6.

Thanks so much to MoM Member Sim for sharing her Gluten Free Chocolate Mousse with Nutella Recipe.

When making this recipe, we recommend using a good quality chocolate rather than a cheap cooking chocolate.  Good quality chocolate is still available in the supermarket but will give you a much smoother ‘mouth feel’ than the lower quality chocolate. There are lots of brands available.  Just look for one with at least 70% cocoa.

Did you know Chocolate Mousse first came onto the home cooking scene in the sixties?  Along with Crepe Suzette, Bombe Alaska and Profiteroles.  It’s been around a long time!  Probably because it’s velvety, light as air texture never goes out of style. Many have tried to mix it up, make it ‘healthy, or make it contemporary but we think a classic chocolate mousse is always an awesome choice for a sweet treat.

  • Sorry but mousse is already gluten free, maybe pregnancy friendly might have been a better title. Hubby makes an awesome chocolate mousse but couldn’t have it while pregnant, so an egg free option would have been great

    • Not all Dark Chocolate is gluten free. I definitely would check the packaging carefully.

    • You could replace the dark chocolate with any chocolate of your liking. As for Nutella I’m with you, I’m not a Nutella fan either
