Kids cannot get enough of this healthy choc slice! Try it out and share your thoughts!


Ingredients (serves 20)

  • condensed milk 1 tin
  • Cocoa poweder Half a cup
  • fine shredded coconut 1 cup
  • 1 of box of healthy cereal Should be roughly 250g

Method

  1. Blitz the cereal so it is all in small peices.
  2. Mix in everything else.
  3. Put down some baking paper in a dish and put the mix in there. If desired sprinkle some coconut on top.
  4. Put it in the fridge to set.

Notes

To easily cut the slice, run a knife under hot water before you cut it.

  • Looking at the ingredents I dont really think you can class it as “healthy” but thats never stopped me…..it sounds yummy and really awesome that no cooking is involved.

  • Fabulous idea and uses up the crumbs at the bottom of cereal packets that I hate to waste but don’t really know what to do with. Not sure i would really call this healthy slice though as there is quite a high sugar content. Oh well, still yummy

  • A great one to get rid of cereal no one will eat. Really need to try this out , Maybe the school holidays
    will be a good time and they can crush the cereal.
