A quick meatball recipe that’s our family favourite. The hidden veg is great, add more grated veg, or cook in a crushed tomato sauce
Use any mince, chicken, lamb or beef

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 500g Mince
  • 1 Carrot, grated
  • Fresh herbs, chopped fine
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Baby spinach, chopped fine
  • 4 Garlic cloves, crushed


  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl thoroughly
  2. Roll into small balls
  3. Fry slowly until golden
  4. Serve with dipping sauce

  • My kids love meatballs, so we tried this recipe and the absolutely loved them came back for seconds and my son took leftovers on his school lunch and the hidden veggies is a bonus.
