This home made lasagne is a lovely dinner idea that you can freeze and grab a portion when you need a quick meal.
Ingredients (makes 9 small portions)
- 1 Packet Lasagne sheets
- 2 Packets Mince meat
- 1 Jar pasta sauce
- 1 Tin chunky tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 cups milk
- 125g butter
- 2 tablespoons plain flour
- 2 cups grated cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
Method
- Sauce: Fry up the garlic and add mince meat and cook till it's brown. add the sauce, chunky tomatoes and tomato paste.
- White sauce: Melt butter in a pan, and add the flour and whisk till paste, then add milk a little bit at a time until it's smooth. keeps stirring. add the grated cheese ( if you wish to, you don't have to)
- Place some mince at the base of a casserole dish, and add the white sauce, add a layer of lasagne sheet, keep layering until you have enough layers. then add mozzarella cheese on top, and cook in a pre heated oven (200 degrees) for 20 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
