Ingredients (makes 2 Pizzas)
- 2 3/4 cups Plain flour
- 7g Yeast
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/4 cup Warm water
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Notes... *This recipe makes 2 lovely thick pizza bases, if you like thinner bases I suggest using 1 cup of warm water and about 2 1/2 cups of flour.
- Place 1/4 cup of the warm water in a large warm bowl. Sprinkle with yeast; stir until dissolved. Add remaining water, salt, oil and 2 cups of flour; stir well. Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough.
- Wearing your Ansell food handling gloves, knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 4 to 6 minutes.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, turning to grease top. Cover; let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour. Remove dough to lightly floured surface.
- Shape, top and bake as desired.
