Here’s a yummy cookies recipe that a certain Pooh bear would love – maybe your children will too!

Winnie the Pooh cookies

Ingredients

  • 200g Butter
  • ½ cup Honey
  • 2 ½ cups Self Raising Flour
  • 2 cups Cornflakes
  • ½ cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 tablespoon white Chia seeds

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 160 Celsius fan forced.
  2. In a saucepan heat the butter and honey together until melted.
  3. Mix all the dry Ingredients together in a large bowl.
  4. Stir in the melted butter and honey and mix well
  5. Roll about a tablespoon of mixture into balls and then press slightly when placing on lined tray.
  6. Bake for about 10 – 12 mins until they are golden.
  7. Makes about 30 cookies

  • good recipe. i have first three ingredients but must buy other 3. also i would roll 3 balls, 1 big and two little. and make them in to a bear face cookie shape. exciting

  • I love the delicious flavour that cookies and cakes have when a little honey is used in the recipe. These would be great for lunchboxes or for fetes to raise money.
