Sometimes nothing hits the spot like a McDonald’s Big Mac, but if you’re steering clear of carbs, it’s a no-go zone. Thankfully there’s a low-carb reimagining of the Big Mac that has all of the flavour punch, without the heaviness.

This viral Big Mac Salad recipe is proving you can make friends with salad – as long as it tastes like Macca’s! It tastes almost identical to the real thing and is just as satisfying, as well as keto-friendly.

There are quite a few versions of the Big Mac Salad recipe floating around, but we love this simple one from iamn0tachef. He’s a bit loose with ingredient amounts so just adjust to your level of hunger and tastes. We’ll admit, it’s not the most beautiful salad in the world, but if you’re craving a fast food hit without the carb-loading, this is it!

Enjoy!

  • I remember seeing this floating around and was so excited to try it so I made a vegetarian version! Substituted the beef for 4 beans and *drool*. Definitely worth a try!

  • Looks like a great alternative to those who love Big Macs. I’m glad I’m not interested in Maccas anymore, been years since I’ve eaten their stuff.

  • Only have Maccas once or twice a year……….this recipe does sound rather nice though.
