So very simple, but yet tasty

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 500g fresh green king prawns
  • 1 teas grated lemon rind
  • 1 tbs lemon juice
  • 1 teas garlic, crushed
  • 2 teas lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 2 teas parsley, fresh or dried

Method

  1. Mix all together
  2. Toss in pan or on the barbeque until the prawns go pink and are cooked.
  3. Season with freshly ground pepper and salt

Notes

You can thread these onto soaked skewers if you are looking to serve them at a barbeque. Don't skip seasoning these. They require the salt to balance the lemon flavours

  • Love the idea of putting these onto skewers for a BBQ.

    • Love prawns on skewers – the best food.

  • Oh my word, these would be absolutely divine. I’d love to try this recipe with a little chilli added, and as we really like scallops, I’d probably do it with half prawns & half scallops. Yum, better than a lot of restaurant dishes.
